Hey, I'm Mike. I'm not just another "guru" - I'm a real person who's been in your shoes.
I started with the typical 9-5 path - studying Maths at University, then working in finance as an Actuary with FTSE 100 companies. But it wasn't my passion, and in 2011 I started side projects online.
My first success was an ebook on Call of Duty that sold over $3,000. I was hooked. I then created Social Gallery, a WordPress plugin that went on to make over $200k in sales. This led to launching an eCommerce store, and growing a portfolio of 35+ digital products.
In 2016, I finally quit my 9-5 to focus full-time. This allowed me to co-found Zero BS CRM, which Automattic acquired in 2019 and rebranded as Jetpack CRM. I've now been at Automattic over 6 years, working on products like Jetpack Boost, Jetpack Newsletter, and of course Jetpack CRM .
