Transforming an iconic scene into a beautiful advert

Bring attention to your content by following my steps when creating a fun advert for Dove¹.

I wanted to have some fun creating a creative piece today. Here’s my process if it helps you create content for your website or business.

Step 1: Choose a reference image

I started with an iconic scene. I wanted one where the faces were level (so Rocky IV wouldn’t work so well). I went for Rocky III.

Step 2: Cut it down

Next, I wanted to make the final advert a specific size, so I cropped the above image and made it monochrome. I’m planning to stack another image below it in the final creative.

Step 3: Add a visual element

Dove has always been known for keeping skin soft and beautiful. I used AI to generate a hand for the image. It looks really good, doesn’t it?

Step 4: Combine with the logo

Finally, I stacked the images and put the Dove logo below the picture.
